Level II Trauma Center – Sarasota County’s only trauma center includes two helicopter landing pads, state-of-the-art trauma resuscitation rooms, trauma surgical suites and intensive care units equipped with cutting-edge monitoring, imaging and life-support technologies.
Pediatric emergencies – An affiliation with John Hopkins All Children's Hospital ensures around-the-clock pediatric care by Pediatric Hospitalists.
Obstetrical emergencies – Sarasota Memorial is the only hospital in the region with a 24-hour emergency department dedicated to pregnant women.
Heart Attacks– Sarasota Memorial’s DASH program (Direct Angioplasty Saves Hearts) ensures heart patients receive immediate and life-saving interventions upon arrival.
