Planned giving is the process of arranging a charitable gift that fits well with your own financial and family situation. In many cases, the right planned gift may enable you to achieve a significant estate or financial planning goal while making a substantial gift to the Healthcare Foundation.
Ways to Give
There are many types of planned gifts. Please call us should you wish to receive our brochure concerning various gift options at (941) 917-1286.
Investing in the Future
The Healthcare Foundation is building its endowment fund to ensure that it will always be able to properly support Sarasota Memorial Hospital and other healthcare organizations in the local community. Since its founding in 1976, Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation, Inc. has provided more than $62 million in grants to help keep Sarasota at the leading edge of medical technology. A planned gift is an excellent way to make your investment in the Foundation's Endowment Fund.
Membership in Legacy of Life is awarded to those donors who arrange a planned gift for the benefit of the Healthcare Foundation. Legacy of Life members are afforded special recognition because of their generous commitment to supporting the future work of the Healthcare Foundation. Please see our Legacy Society Page.
Professional Advisor Network
The Healthcare Foundation sponsors a Professional Advisor Network (PAN) of estate and financial planning professionals who have an interest in the community healthcare system and who are skilled in assisting donors with charitable gift plans, including charitable bequests and trusts.
The Foundation does not provide legal advice. Please consult your attorney or tax advisor for advice when making a gift of real estate, personal property, special trust, insurance policy, bequest by will or other estate plan.
